This Refund Policy outlines our refund terms for the OpenCulture application operated by OpenCulture and owned by Nishanth Vijayan.
Trial Period
OpenCulture offers a free trial period that includes access to all features:
Anonymous question submission
Moderation capabilities (AI and human)
Channel management functions
Home tab dashboard
Once the trial period expires, users will not have access to core features like submitting new anonymous questions unless they purchase a paid plan.
Paid Plans
For our paid plans:
All purchases are final and non-refundable
Subscriptions are charged at the beginning of each billing period
You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges
No partial refunds are provided for unused periods
We maintain this no-refund policy because our features and limitations are clearly described before purchase, and we offer a free trial that allows you to fully evaluate the application before committing to a paid plan. This policy helps us maintain fair pricing and sustainable operations.
Subscription Cancellation
While we don't offer refunds, you can:
Cancel your subscription by contacting our support team at support@openculturebot.com
Continue using paid features until the end of your current billing period
Lose access to core features once your paid period ends
Retain access to all your historical Q&A data
Please note that subscription cancellations must be processed through our support team and cannot be performed directly within the application.
Exceptional Circumstances
In cases of unauthorized charges or technical errors in billing, please contact us immediately. These situations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any appropriate adjustments will be made at our discretion.
Enterprise Customers
For enterprise customers with custom contracts, refund terms will be as specified in your service agreement. Please refer to your contract or contact your account manager for details.
